  About Silicon City
 
SILICON CITY is an IT/ ITES specific Special Economic Zone project being built on a 50 acre prime land in Bhiwadi, only 30 minute drive from Gurgaon on the NH8 Expressway. With a total development of about 5 million sft of IT/ITES space and about 1 million sft of social infrastructure comprising of a hotel, service apartments, retail and recreation, Silicon City is designed on the philosophy of WORK, LIVE & PLAY set amidst a huge pedestrian central avenue free of traffic to provide a Campus look and feel and thus providing the right impetus to a great work environment with world-class infrastructure. Silicon City is being designed by JURONG INTERNATIONAL GROUP , Singapore who are our technical partners. The internationally-renowned organisation is a USD 2 billion company with a presence in 36 countries across 126 cities with over 1000 projects. The 30 year old company has a rich legacy in consultancy, construction, infrastructure and real estate development. The Project Management Consultant for Silicon City has been given to the well-known firm, Synergy Property Development Services Pvt. Ltd., India & Malaysia.

PROJECT STATUS AND APPROVALS
aerrow Land acquired directly from RIICO (Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation Ltd.) with a clear title.
aerrow Formal approval for setting up an IT SEZ obtained from the Govt. Of India in August 2006.
aerrow Notification expected by October 2007.

BROAD DEVELOPMENT DETAILS
aerrow Total Land Area : 50 acres.
aerrow Processing Zone: 42 acres encompassing a development of approx. 5 million sft of built up office space.
aerrow Non-Processing Zone: 8 acres encompassing a development of approx. of social infrastructure development.
